Cordless Kites is a South East London-based band band that blends Rock, Grunge and Folk. We write our own original songs and also perform select covers. Our music blends the smooth sounds of soft rock with the dynamic elements of jazz, creating a unique and captivating listening experience.
New Album: Heavy Gravity
The second album was written during the pandemic and reflects the light and dark tones that inhabited our lives at that time. The Kites have been brought back to Earth to a new reality, foreign and otherworldly.
Here the atmosphere is heavy with dread and a deathly aura. Familiar faces dispersed out to faraway lands. The once taken for granted freedom, all but gone. Feet firmly stuck to the ground, Kites will have to acclimatise themselves to this new normal. With time new characters emerge, a new hope beckons, new horizons.
Cordless Kites - Released
Released is our debut album made after two years of experimentation and solidifying our musical voice our diverse backgrounds into a comunal groove. This album bridges the chasm between relentnessness and sensistivity through vocal harmonies and groove.
